Imorse var en sådan morgon som jag riktigt längtade efter lite yoghurt och bröd. Jag avnjöt frukosten på balkongen samtidigt som jag tittade på senaste avsnittet av Solsidan. Världen känns allt bra liten ibland!
In Asia and in Malaysia, many people have other breakfast habits than in Sweden. Usually people eat cooked and warm food for breakfast. It can be anything from soup noodle, fried noodles, fried rice , nasi lemak (rice with chillipaste and dried fish) to various curries. Most of the food and the breakfast is also pretty spicy here in Malaysia. Since I have a husband who is from here and since I lived in Asia on and off for many years, I've got used to cooked food for breakfast and actually miss it when we live in Sweden. But sometimes when I wake up and it 's so damn hot, I long for Swedish breakfast. In Sweden , I eat mostly yogurt or oatmeal for breakfast with bread and cheese and ham or Swedish caviar. Bread in Sweden is truly amazing and baked with wholesome grains and lots of seeds. Here in Malaysia , it is hard to find bread that is as healthy and dense as the Swedish bread. There is also no Swedish Wasa bread here, which is something I miss a lot. In a humid country like Malaysia, these dry foods are very difficult to keep. Dairy products also can not be compared to Sweden which has the best dairy products in the world! And I'm being very objective when I say this ..
This morning, I was craving for a bit of yogurt and bread so I decided to have some yogurt with seeds and goji berries and some toast with cheese and cherry tomatoes. I had this breakfast at the balcony (breakfast at the balcony in November, YAY) while I was watching some good old Swedish TV online.
