Since I love China so much, you might understand that this love also includes the amazing Chinese cuisine. The food in China tastes nothing like the Chinese food that you can eat in restaurants in Sweden. After tasting the food in China, you're wondering what kind of food they actually serve in Chinese restaurants in Sweden, because it is for sure not Chinese food. This time around in Malaysia, we try to cook more meals at home. Even if it's cheap to eat out , it's not always that healthy. So, to be able to combine Chinese food with home cooked and at the same time not be too dependent on my husband's cooking, which by the way is very good, I have to learn how to master the art of Chinese cooking myself. I have tried to cook a few different Chinese dishes, including steamed fish with garlic and ginger, stir-fried bean sprouts with tofu, steamed pok choy with garlic and a few other dishes. My mother-in-law taught me how to steam the fish, and the rest I have learned through recipes and instructional videos on youtube. I do have a long way to go before I master the art of Chinese cooking, but at least I'm on the way there.
