Fram tills idag har vårt hus mest sett ut som en byggarbetsplats. Cementrester och sand överallt. Säckar med torr cement, gips och annat byggnadsmaterial. Tegelstenar, kakel och högar av skräp precis var man än står. Men så idag, när allt överflödigt byggnadsmaterial och allt skräp äntligen körts bort. När allt kakel är på plats och köket har byggts. När innertaket byggts och målats, ja då äntligen kunde jag för första gången få en tydlig bild av hur huset kommer att se ut. Och när jag stod där idag och tittade så kände jag mig plötsligt så himla stolt. Stolt över min man som designat oss ett så underbart vackert hus! Inte för att jag inte hade förväntat mig att det skulle bli så vackert, utan mer för att jag blev så tagen av hur storslaget huset kändes. Jag kan knappt bärga mig tills jag får se det slutgiltiga resultatet och får flytta in i vårt nya, fina hus!
Until today, our house has basically looked like a construction site. Cement debris and sand everywhere. Bags of dry cement, plaster and other building materials. Bricks, tiles and piles of junk just about everywhere you stand. But today, when all the excess building materials and all debris finally were gone. After all the tiles have been put in place and the kitchen has been built. And, when the plaster ceiling has been built and painted. Well, then finally I was able to, for the first time ,get a clear view of how the house is going to look like when completed. And as I stood there and looked at the result, I suddenly felt so proud. Proud of my husband who designed us such an amazing and beautiful house! Not that I wasn't expecting it to be this beautiful, but more because I was so taken by how very grand the house felt. I can't wait until I get to see the final result and get to move into our new, amazing home!
