Sunrise over Penang strait

Jag älskar de tidiga morgnarna här i Penang. Jag försöker att varje dag vakna runt klockan 7 då solen går upp. Det är något särskilt med ljuset och stämningen här så tidigt på morgonen. Kanske för att dagarna här vanligtvis är så varma och soliga, för att det alltid i bakgrunden finns konstant ljud och oljud, och för att det alltid är så mycket människor, bilar och motorcyklar i omlopp. Då känns morgnarna här ovanligt stillsamma och harmoniska. Dessutom är ljuset på morgnarna, innan solen gått upp, helt magiskt. Att starta dagen med dessa soluppgångar samt med en simtur i poolen efteråt, är otroligt välgörande för själen.



I love the early mornings here in Penang. I try to, every day, wake up around 7 am when the sunrises. There is something special about the light and the atmosphere here that early in the morning. Perhaps because the day here is usually so hot and sunny, because there's always constant sound and noise in the background, and because there's always so much people, cars and motorcycles in motion. Then the mornings here feels unusually quiet and harmonious. Also, the light in the mornings before the sun rises, is truly magical. Starting the days with these sunrises and with a swim in the pool afterwards, is incredibly soothing to the soul.
